I took this picture for my portrait because Carley is my best friend and practically my other half. We do and go everywhere together and are pretty much sisters. I think this picture is really cool because of the angle I took it at and the prop I have her use.
I took this picture when it was pouring out one day. I love to dance and thought it would be cool to dance in the rain. It was really fun taking these pictures and I got soaked! I like how it turned out a lot because it seems natural.
I like how this picture turned out. It looks very summery which I like a lot. The flowers are really pretty and I place them in front of my mouth to kind of cover my face. I wish I didn't cut off part of my head but I think it still turned out okay.

PORTRAIT

This is my other portrait photo that I also took at the abandoned house. I like this photo because of the truck and how simple it looks. The outfit that I am wearing goes well with the photo because it looks like a simple outfit for farm life. I think the lighting in the photo turned out really good because there is not a cloud in the sky and it was a beautiful day out.

PORTRAITS

This is one of the photos I took for my portrait shots. I really like the location of the picture which is at a abandoned house I found. The bathtub is really different and caught my eye right away. I also like how my model is dressed because her outfit really goes with the farm theme. Overall I think this picture turned out really good and I could see it being in a magazine.

COLORS

I really like the texture in this photo. This photo I took for the color assignment and I decided to take white because without white colors are not as vivid. I like how there is random pieces of dark panels with the white because it makes the white pop. I took this picture on a cloudy day but I think it actually makes me like the photo more because it has a mysterious effect.
The color I took for this photo is obviously pink. I really like this photo because it is simple yet beautiful. I like the focal point which is the left side branch with the flowers in focus. I think this picture represents love and simple beauties.

This is one of my color photos. I took green for this photo which I think turned out pretty good. I feel like the green represents growth in this photo because the plant it spreading everywhere and taking over the wall. I like that at first glance the viewer doesn't exactly know what the photo is. This is a vine plant covering a wall in downtown Oconomowoc.

I took this photo for the yellow wallpaper shot. In the article the lady feels trapped and the house is driving her crazy. I took this door with the lock and board blocking the door to get the trapped feeling. I like how there is a shadow in the photo because it adds to the colors by creating a darker brown.

These are my repulsive photos I took. When we first got these assignment I was not really thinking outside the box. I think these photos really capture the beauty in objects that people think are repulsive. I was really excited to find some new places to take pictures and luckily found these objects. The bike and stroller many would consider junk but I think it has kind of a vintage feel to it that I love. I happen to come across the couches and knew it would be perfect. What is one's persons garbage turned into a great photo for me. The window looks sweet with the pattern behind it and has nice dimension.

These two photos are what I took for my attractive photos. I really like the staircase because it has a urban feel that it hard to find in such a small town as Oconomonowoc. I also like how one's eyes zig-zag up the staircase. I think the lighting in both pictures turned out awesome. I barely did anything to the photos because they look so great the way they are. My other attractive photo is the three leaf clovers. I think they are really petite and pretty. They make me inspired and hopeful as luck often does. I used the macro on this photo and I really like how it turned out. I like how most are blurry except for a few in the front. I have to save these are my favorite pictures I have taken so far in digital photo so far!

This is a photo of me in Mexico with one of the workers. I used overlay in this photo and I really like the filter. It brought out the colors so much more and looks way better than the original. I definitely plan to use this filter again, it was my favorite of all the filters I tried.
This is my neon glow. I was unaware that we were suppose to not make it look like it is actually glowing. I do like how the picture turned out even with the glow. This reminds me of the jungle at night and has a kind of spooky effect.
With this photo I used the easy blur filter. I really like how it turned out especially in sepia. I think it is blurred the perfect amount and makes the path look very welcoming.

This is my feathered photo. I like how the filter in the background reallymakes the flamingo pop. I really like this filter and plan to use it again. I used the lasso tool for the flamingo because I didn't know that you could just earse so when I use this filter again I plan to just earse to get a better effect.

ABC ASSIGNMENT

This is our ABC assignment. I took my pictures as I walked around the lake and I like how it ties all the photos together. I also like the contrast in the photos because they are all so vibrant. It was a little difficult to find all the letters but I liked how it all turned out. In some of the photos I used some different filters which I like a lot because it adds originality.

For my space photo I choose to create the octopuses garden with The Beatles. I created space by putting certain layers over others. For an example I put The Beatles in fron of everything. I also made some pictures smaller to make them appear farther away. I like how this picture turned out and could see it being an ablum cover.

TINY PLANET

I took this picture in Mexico when I went in January. It was originally a picture of one of the pools at my resort. I really like how the pillars circles the planet adding dimension. I also like all the green in the photo because it catches the atmosphere of Mexico. If I was to name this planet it would be Verde Utopia.
